Construction Conveyors for Aggregates, Concrete and Debris
Construction conveyors move aggregates, concrete materials, asphalt, excavated soil and debris faster and with less manual handling, on site and in batching and crushing plants.
- Aggregates and concrete
- Excavation and debris
- Portable or fixed

Conveyors for Construction
Construction sites and material plants move large volumes of heavy, abrasive and often wet material. Conveyors keep that flow steady, cut truck and loader movements, and reduce the number of people working near moving machines.
EKA Conveyors supplies fixed and portable belt conveyors, rubber belts in abrasion-resistant grades, chevron belts for inclines, and rollers and lagging for crushing, screening, batching, asphalt, recycling and earthmoving work.
Construction Applications
Choose a process to see the conveyors we recommend for it.
Aggregate Production
Conveyors for aggregate production move crushed stone, sand, gravel and recycled concrete between crushers, screens, stockpiles and trucks.
Concrete Production
Conveyors for concrete production keep aggregates moving into batching plants, carry materials around sites and move moulds and pallets through precast and paver block plants.
Asphalt & Road Construction
Conveyors for asphalt and road construction feed aggregates from cold bins to the dryer drum, handle reclaimed asphalt and supply WMM and GSB plants.
Construction Waste Recycling
Conveyors for construction waste recycling carry mixed C&D debris through crushers, magnets, screens and picking stations, turning concrete and masonry into reusable aggregate and sand.
Foundation & Piling
Conveyors for foundation and piling works carry spoil from bored piles, diaphragm walls and basement digs to trucks or stockpiles, especially on congested city sites.
Industrial Plant Construction
Conveyors for industrial plant construction should be planned alongside the building, not after it.
Excavation & Earthmoving
Conveyors for excavation and earthmoving carry soil, rock and muck from the cut to fill areas, stockpiles or trucks without a constant shuttle of dumpers.
Demolition & Debris Removal
Conveyors for demolition and debris removal move rubble, plaster and strip-out waste from floors, basements and confined sites to skips and trucks.
Trenching & Pipelines
Conveyors for trenching and pipeline construction move spoil away from narrow trenches and place sand bedding and backfill where machines cannot easily reach.
Common Problems We Solve
Too many loader and truck trips
A conveyor moves material continuously between stockpile, crusher and loading point.
Belts wearing out quickly
Abrasion-resistant rubber grades and impact rollers at the feed extend belt life.
Spillage around the conveyor
Skirting, belt cleaners and correct feed chutes keep the area clean and safe.

What to Send Us for a Quote
These details let us quote accurately the first time.
- What you need to move: product or material, size, weight per piece or bulk density
- Throughput: pieces per minute or tonnes per hour
- Layout: length, height difference or incline, curves, transfer points (a sketch or photo is fine)
- Working conditions: indoor/outdoor, temperature, moisture, dust, oil or food contact
- Frame and belt preference, if any: MS powder-coated, SS 304 or aluminium profile
- Power supply and any controls you need: variable speed, sensors, stops
- Site location and when you need it

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about construction.
What conveyors are used on construction sites?
Portable and fixed belt conveyors are the most common, often with chevron belts for inclines. They move aggregates, soil, concrete materials and debris between stockpiles, crushers, batching plants and trucks.
Which belt is best for aggregates?
A multi-ply rubber belt in an abrasion-resistant grade such as M-24 suits most aggregate work. For inclines above about 18°, a chevron belt helps stop material rolling back.
Can a conveyor be moved around a site?
Yes. Portable conveyors on wheels or skids can be repositioned as work progresses. Tell us how often you need to move it and the lengths involved.
How do you control dust and spillage?
Skirt boards, belt cleaners, covered transfers and correct loading at the feed point reduce spillage and dust. We include these where the duty needs them.
Can conveyors handle demolition debris?
Yes, with a heavy-duty belt, impact rollers at the loading point and robust frames. Pre-sorting oversized pieces and metal protects the belt.
What information do you need for a quote?
The material, maximum lump size, tonnes per hour, conveying length and height, and site conditions. Photos of the site help.
